Hi, I’m Dave—a Creative Lead who is at home taking a mess of ideas, content, and constraints and turning them into something cohesive, clear, and visually meaningful. For me, great design isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s about creating brand experiences that connect with people and stand the test of time.

I’m especially drawn to brand-building: digging into what makes a company tick, identifying the gaps, and crafting a visual identity that feels both intentional and human. Whether it's designing a logo, building a website, creating event signage, or producing a podcast, I love the challenge of translating strategy into visuals that resonate.

Originally from a small town in upstate New York, I got my start in graphic design straight out of high school. After a brief career detour into finance, I found my way back to design and never looked back. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Graphic Design and I reignited my passion for visual work.

Since then, I’ve built a career around helping brands tell their stories with clarity and purpose. I started my career designing stage graphics for the Vans Warped Tour and packaging and marketing materials at Honest Tea—where I also contributed to their rebrand. I’ve led creative at Arena Stage in Washington, D.C., partnered with mission-driven organizations like Autism Speaks, and shaped design systems for companies like the Virginia ABC and more. Recently, I served as the Creative Lead at Scanifly, a drone-based solar software company where I oversaw brand design across all digital and print medias.

Outside of work, you’ll find me flying drones, hiking, woodworking, hanging out with my dog Taco, getting lost in interior design projects, or learning random animal facts. I’m always chasing inspiration—in the wild, in my workshop, or in a really good cup of coffee. Black, of course.
